How to Rock a Rolex

If any man could pull off a Rolex, it was Tom Landry.
.
This guy was a record breaker through and through,
a different breed some might say. His 29 back to back years with the Cowboys is a record still standing today, that is without mentioning his 20 consecutive winning seasons with them too.
.
Enough with the football talk though, let’s move on to his panache. A man who was to a dapper suit what Pininfarina was to design, if Landry didn’t drive a Nash Healey Roadster, I’ll be dammed.
.
People say he was the innovator and his football philosophy way ahead of his time, all I know is that only a maverick like him could rock a sharp suit, rogue fedora and a garishly beautiful Gold Rolex Day Date and produce brilliance.
.
He was also an ambassador for Concord Watches and often featured as their poster chap, little is known about the curious square faced gold watch he is often spotted to have donned, however he is known to have frequently worn an epic Vintage 18k Gold Rolex Presidential Day Date, similar to this:
.

A watch that looked such the part on him even his bronze statue outside the AT&T Stadium couldn't get away with not wearing it! If he had a trademark it was bossing the style game from the side lines, he made it look too easy, oh what I would do for one ounce of his style…but let’s not go into that.
.
Only one way to sign this off, a quote from the legend himself:
.
“The quality of a man life is in direct  proportion to his commitment to  excellence” – Tom Landry.
