Vintage Swiss Emperor Panda Chronograph Watch with Valjoux 7733 & Handmade Strap

Vintage manual wound chronographs are steadily rising in value and will continue to do so, panda dial examples with Swiss Valjoux Movements are also some of the most desirable watches within the vintage watch world.

This watch has a black on white 'panda' dial, it has a lovely red second hand which compliments the accent on the right-hand chronograph dial and also the leather strap stitching. Considering this watch is nearly 60 years old, it has been really looked after as it is in amazing condition and running beautifully.

There are two registers, one for constant seconds and the other to record up to 30 minutes. The chronograph is operated by pressing the top button to start and stop the chronograph, and the bottom button to re-set.

We have team it with a brown handmade leather strap made from 100% genuine leather obtained from Pittards in Somerset (UK), it is specifically tailored to this watch with complimentary red stitching. It feels great, will age gorgeously and will mould perfectly to your wrist!

MOVEMENT:

Swiss Made Valjoux 7733 movement (also used in Heuer and Breitling watches of the same era), Manual Winding Mechanical. In full working order, chronograph resets to 12, the chronograph works perfectly and keeping accurate time. These movements are highly reliable and easy to maintain, parts are also plentiful because parts were interchangeable between the various models in the 7730 range.

CASE: Watch case is in great condition.
DIAL: Good condition.
BACK CASE: Great condition
CROWN: Good condition.
CRYSTAL: Great condition.
OVERALL CONDITION: Has been tested, cleaned and checked over and is in excellent working order.
PRESENTATION: Presented in a vintage pirate trunk presentation box.
